ASSORTED BRITISH CERAMIC ARTICLES, LOT OF 11, including a white salt-glazed stoneware plate having dot, diaper, and basket border design, a 3 1/4" H open-bottomed rooster figure with polychrome hand-painted decorations, a light blue ironstone "SIDNEY'S / PATENT / MEASURE / JUG." "GRADUATED FOR / THREE PINTS / & TWO QUARTS", lacking glass plugs, a pink lustre Sunderland bowl featuring ships on rough water with "SCHOONER" below to one side and reverse with poem "The loss of gold is great...", a silver lustre sugar and creamer with molded eagle motif, and two mugs having embossed polychrome floral design. Measuring jug with printed Royal Arms with "IRONSTONE CHINA / EDWARD WALLEY", otherwise unmarked. Late 18th to 19th century. 9 1/4" HOA.


Four undamaged, except some having minor expected usage wear; rooster having bruise to top of base; Sunderland bowl having flake to foot ring and rim hairline that does not appear to go through to interior; silver lustre creamer with restoration to minor chip on spout; pink lustre footed creamer with hairline to foot; pink lustre creamer with broken and repaired spout; one embossed mug with flake to rim interior and remaining with minor chip to lower part of handle.
