ASSORTED CERAMIC APOTHECARY ARTICLES, LOT OF TEN, including two matching domed-cover examples with green and white glaze consisting one with applied label "ADEPS / PRAEPAR:" and one having applied label "VASELINE / FLAV:" to front, three examples with hand-painted gilt and polychrome floral decorations including two matching examples featuring one with "LYTTA. / VESIC. PUL" and one having "OX. / ANTIM.SAL" to front, and three French tin-glazed ointment pots including a green and a blue example. 19th to early 20th century. 6 3/4" HOA.

Condition

One ointment and five jars undamaged, except green-glazed examples having moderate crazing with some discoloration and residue from use; "LYTTA. VESIC. PUL" example having glued rim chip with white-paint; three ointment pots with some scattered chips to rim and/or base.
