ASSORTED CERAMIC ARTICLES, LOT OF SEVEN, including a 19 1/4" x 15 7/8" blue shell edge platter, a porcelain funnel with Blue Onion motif, a Chinese Export Porcelain cup featuring "MW" monogram and delicate hand-painted black vine rim decoration, a French cup and saucer set with polychrome hand-painted floral design, and an ironstone W.S. George sugar bowl with relief face handles and cover finial. Marks to underside include green-printed "CFH / GMD" with red hand-brushed "MD", blue-printed urn with "CANTON / WOODS / WARE / WOOD & SONS / ENGLAND", and each with hand-brushed museum accession number. Charles Field Haviland, Limoges, France; W.S. George Pottery, East Palestine, OH; Wood & Sons, Burslem, England; and others. 19th to early 20th century.


Woods Ware saucer, funnel, and Haviland cup undamaged; Haviland saucer mostly undamaged except having an extremely minute rim flake; monogram cup having rim with hairlines and a flake; platter with chip to rim and scattered scratches from use; sugar bowl rim hairline crack and a chip with associated hairline.
