ASSORTED COUNTRY STORE WOODEN DISPLAY ARTICLES, LOT OF TWO,
primarily pine, comprising a rectangular-form floor broom rack, each side fitted with a circular for slot with a total of 20, base with a cut-out circular-form support slot, raised on cast-iron castors; and a counter top coffee/tea bin, hinged cover with applied brass numerals "80" and with remnants of a tacked on paper label, front with an arch-form window.
Fourth quarter 19th/first quarter 20th century.
Broom rack 29" H, 18 1/2" x 24"; Bin 15 1/2" H, 14 1/8" x 13".
Provenance: Deaccessioned by Bennington Museum, Bennington, VT. All proceeds will go toward the museum's collections acquisition fund.
Condition
Very good overall condition, each with expected usage wear and minor wood imperfections, coffee/tea bin lacking glass window pane, broom rack with scattered gray paint.
