ASSORTED DRAWERS AND HISTORIC WALLPAPER FRAGMENT, LOT OF EIGHT, assorted drawers, four with ornate lion pulls, one with a drop pull and floral plate, wallpaper removed from an Emporia, VA home. Wallpaper recorded as being circa 1855, drawers late 19th/ early 20th century. Largest drawer 5" HOA, 29 1/2" WOA, 14 1/4" DOA.
Condition
Good condition overall, scattered moderate damage and loss to drawers, wallpaper rough, having been removed from a wall, but relatively intact considering.
Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum, Richmond, VA to benefit collections care, preservation, and future acquisitions.
