ASSORTED EARTHENWARE / STONEWARE ARTICLES, LOT OF SEVEN,
including two English brown salt-glazed examples including a colander having three rows of impressed stars to exterior and jug with rouletted decoration to shoulder, a squat bulbous jug with lead glaze, two thinly made stoneware cups, and one small lead-glazed jar. Together with a brass ovoid hinged box, possibly for cigarettes. Eight pieces total.

Condition
Four undamaged, except some having minor expected wear including lead-glazed jar with some minor scattered glaze loss to rim; one cup with minute chip and flake to foot; colander with chip to foot; jug having chip to foot; brass box having some minor denting with loss to interior. Manufacturing flaws including one cup with firing separation to base and jar with glazed over chip to rim, as made.
