ASSORTED ENGLISH STONEWARE INK BOTTLES, LOT OF 13, mostly brown and salt-glazed except largest example Bristol-glazed, various shapes including cylindrical master inks with pinched pour spouts, one of these stamped "P&J ARNOLD LONDON" and another stamped "LOVATT & LOVATT LTD", multiple squat so-called "pork pie inks", one ring-shouldered spool form example mimicking glass ink bottles of the era, and a large cone ink. Mid to late 19th century. 7 3/4" HOA.
Excellent condition overall, most examples undamaged or with just minor flaking at lips or shallow chipping, usually around heels, some of it as made. Largest example with several scattered firing flaws to body, particularly pock marks, as made.
