ASSORTED EUROPEAN WINE / LIQUOR DECANTER BOTTLES, LOT OF FOUR, various tall cylinders, comprising a dark-amber blown-molded bottle with gilt-decorated shield-form label under glass reading "OTARD, B." likely indicating the famous French brandy, and three blown and cut-fluted examples consisting of a canary/Vaseline (reacts under black light) and a honey-amber example with engraved grapevine decoration, in addition to a dark blue example with a period but non-original cork and metal stopper embossed "WHISKY", each with applied or tooled mouth, and two having polished pontil marks. Various makers. Mid 19th century. 12 3/4" HOA.

Condition

Excellent condition overall, mostly undamaged or with minor wear/interior residue except canary example with some heavier chipping around cut edges of applied neck ring. Otard with roughness at upper lip, likely as made.
