ASSORTED GLASS SCENT BOTTLES, LOT OF FOUR, comprising a tall opaline example with a silver lid and interior stopper, and three colorless cut and cylindrical examples with two having gilt decoration and each having a period stopper. Various makers. 19th and early 20th century. 5 1/4" to 7 3/8" H.
Provenance: From a private West Virginia collection.
Opaline having a single minute flake to the base edge; remainder undamaged with scattered surface wear. Colorless examples having some roughness to the mouth and base edge, as made.
