ASSORTED HOBBS - STAINED ARTICLES, LOT OF FOUR, colorless, comprising a ruby-stained covered sugar bowl with engrave decoration, and an amber-stained covered cracker jar with etched decoration, and two Leaf and Flower bowls. Hobbs, Brockunier & Co. Fourth quarter 19th century. 2 3/4" to 8 1/2" HOA. Bowls: 7" and 9 1/2" D rims.
Cracker jar having a crack to the body, cover having a chip to the flange and edge, having a slight purple tint; sugar having a couple of sliver chips to the underside of the foot and a couple of flakes to the cover flange/edge; smaller bowl having scattered flaking and moderate overall wear; large bowl undamaged with some light wear.
