Provenance:Glass deaccessioned by Bennington Museum, Bennington, VT. All proceeds will go toward the museum's Collections Acquisition Fund.
Syrup having a crack to the handle and most of the interior silver being lost or damaged; butter lid having a few scattered flakes to the rim; remainder undamaged with many articles having some scattered wear. Each having expected roughness in association with the pontil mark, as made.
