ASSORTED MILK GLASS PERFUME / SCENT BOTTLES, LOT OF TWO, cylindrical forms with matching glass stoppers, comprising a painted label under glass "LIGHTNER'S PERFUMES" with heavy gilt decoration and scent identified as "QUEEN MARY", bottle also embossed to rear for E.N. Lightner & Co. of Detroit, MI; plus an enamel- and gilt-decorated example reading "Incienso" within a shield surrounded by polychrome hand-painted florals reaching also onto the neck and stopper, tooled mouths and smooth bases. Third or fourth quarter 19th century. 10 1/2" HOA.

Condition

Undamaged with some losses to decoration on incense bottle and some discoloration/minor losses around the edges of the painted label of Lightner.
