ASSORTED MOLDED-WOOD AND GESSO FRAMES, LOT OF SIX, including a pierced/openwork example in Moorish style, several walnut and gilt examples, an oak example with brass corner details, one with gesso and a paint-decorated surface. American or possibly British. Late 19th/early 20th century. Largest 20" x 17 1/2" OA.
Condition
As-found condition, many with moderate losses and damage to surfaces.
Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum, Richmond, VA to benefit collections care, preservation, and future acquisitions.
