ASSORTED PENNSYLVANIA MANUSCRIPT MATERIAL, most dated 1780-1865 from Allentown/Northampton area, including a loyalty oath receipt dated 1779, a record of a 1785 transaction between George Graff and David Rittenhouse, a 1907 response letter from the White House, and a diverse collection of correspondence, deeds, sales records, and personal documents including some religious song lyrics and poems.
Losses or tears to edges of some documents, most with varying degrees of wear and toning, many folded with minimal wear to edges, several in original envelopes.
