ASSORTED PRESSED GLASS APOTHECARY / SAMPLE JARS, LOT OF THREE, colorless, each with matching patterned stoppers not ground for the necks, comprising a cylindrical-form example, a remarkably large ovoid-bodied Columbia (OMN) patterned example, and a four-sided oblong bodied jar raised on hexagonal standard and round foot, with patterned neck and 12-flute pyramid-shaped stopper. Various makers. Early to mid 20th century. 15 1/2" to 30" H.
Both Columbias undamaged with minimal wear, four-sided jar very good with moderate to heavy flaking and shallow chipping, plus one larger chip, around upper edge of mouth. Oversized Columbia with some overfill/roughness along mold seams at neck and mouth, as made.
Collection of the late Al and Billy Steidel, Alexandria, VA.
