ASSORTED WASHINGTON, DC EMBOSSED WHISKEY FLASKS, LOT OF THREE, each of strap-sided form with embossed round slug plates, comprising a colorless pint with pictorial Cannon embossed and an address, an amber pint for "SOMERSET R. WATERS / GROCER", and an amber quart for Charles Kraemer with intertwined "CK" monogram/trademark, each with tooled double collar mouth. Fourth quarter 19th century. 8" H Cannon, 9 3/4" HOA.

Condition

Cannon very good and Kraemer excellent, each with minor to moderate wear and/or light staining, Cannon with a likely as-made U-shaped crescent bruise at front heel; Somerset R. Waters flask having been excavated with a small hole and extensive crack network traveling around right side, likely an unfortunate probe-related hole from a privy dig.

Collection of the late Al and Billy Steidel, Alexandria, VA.
