ASSORTED WOODEN BOXES / LAP DESKS, LOT OF FOUR, comprising a pressed paper lap desk with an embossed and gilded stag decoration to top; a locking sheet iron box with bail handle; a scroll-footed example; a dovetailed example with a drawer. American and Continental. 19th century. Largest 6 1/2" HOA, 11" WOA, 8" DOA.
Condition
Fair to good condition with dovetailed example being in the worst shape, drawer is in pieces and significant overall wear and loss; significant finish wear to scroll-footed example.
