ASSORTED WROUGHT-IRON HEARTH ARTICLES, LOT OF FIVE, comprising two cauldrons / cook pots, the taller signed "TRS & CO. / 5", one hanging pot which is part of a double boiler, and two wafer irons one with a leaf/berry design and a lyre to the center, the other open, and round, possibly for a Johnnycake or something similar. 19th century. Cake iron, 29" LOA.
Good condition overall, shorter iron pot with a crack to side, the feet on both pots have been worn down over time, as expected; all pieces with minor rust and pitting.
Deaccessioned by the Valentine Museum, Richmond, VA to benefit collections care, preservation, and future acquisitions.
