AUGUSTE FAVRE SWISS 0.800 SILVER CASE 15-JEWEL POCKET WATCH, enamel dial with Roman chapter ring and seconds subsidiary, housed in an 0.800 silver open-face case with crystal, rose gold-washed accents, and a non-silver cuvette. Interior case cover stamped with serial number "553521", a Swiss grouse hallmark, and "0.800" silver fineness mark as well as and engraved motif of a lion pouncing on serpent, cuvette engraved "1/2 CHRONOMETRE / ANCRE / 15 RUBIS / Spiral Breguet / Balancier Compense". Total weight: 105.5 grams. Auguste Favre, Cormoret, Switzerland. Late 19th/first quarter 20th century. Case 2" D.
Good to very good overall condition with some wear and surface scratches to case, some losses to gold-washed finish, minor hairlines to enamel dial. Unknown working condition (See Catalogue Guarantee).
