BAIRD CLOCK CO. VENUS SOAP ADVERTISING WALL CLOCK, painted wood with composition added to front panel to give texture to lettering, front reads "VENUS SOAP - SAVES RUBBING", face reads "MADE BY / BAIRD CLOCK CO., / PLATTSBURGH N.Y. / U.S.A." Retains original glass, original paint to face, and likely replaced key and pendulum. First quarter 20th century. 18 1/2" DOA.
Condition
Good condition overall with paint wear and scratching to face, advertising portion with an older repainted surface.
