BALTIMORE, MARYLAND DECORATED STONEWARE JAR, salt-glazed, approximately one-gallon capacity, cylindrical form with squared rim, beaded neck ring, and single-incised ring above medial body. Bold brushed cobalt double blossom flower to each side. Attributed to the pottery of Peter Herrmann (1825-1901). Circa 1875. 10" H, 6 1/2" D rim.
Condition
Excellent, undamaged condition. Manufacturing flaws including a minor kiln kiss void above base, as made.
