BELLFLOWER - SINGLE VINE SWEETMEAT AND COVER, colorless lead glass, smaller pattern with plain leaves, shallow bowl with plain rim, vine flowing left, and 48 rays in base, raised on a high octagonal stem with upper knop, stepped to an unpatterned 15-scallop foot, matching cover with vine flowing right and hexagonal acorn-form finial, wafer construction. Probably M'Kee & Brother(s). Third quarter 19th century. 8" HOA, 4 3/4" H base, 6 1/8" D base rim, 4 1/4" D foot.

Excellent condition with a minor spot of post-production polishing at the tip of the finial; some isolated flaking to the cover edge. Some light mold roughness to the base edge, as made.
