BLOWN-MOLDED AND PRESSED CANDLESTICK,, medium blue, featuring a Number 1 lacy socket applied to a double ribbed-melon hollow shaft, and raised on an eight-lobed columnar standard and stepped quatrefoil base, wafer construction. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1830-1840. 9 7/8" H, 4 1/8" SQ base.

Condition

Excellent condition overall with some sliver chips to the underside of the foot, a small chip to the top edge of the foot. Having a sizeable burst bubble to the base edge, socket having expected networks of annealing lines, some spots of mold roughness, all as made.
