BLOWN-MOLDED GI-7 TYPE II CRUET / TOILET BOTTLE, deep amethyst, having a folded-over rim and rough pontil mark, topped with a cobalt blue ribbed Tam-o-Shanter stopper, together by association. Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. and others. 1825-1835. 6 3/4" HOA, 5 7/8" H bottle.
Provenance: Glass deaccessioned by Bennington Museum, Bennington, VT. All proceeds will go toward the museum's Collections Acquisition Fund.
