BRASS AND SHEET-IRON SKATER'S LANTERNS, LOT OF SIX, comprising two brass electrified examples with cobalt blue globes and four sheet-iron examples with colorless globes, removable perforated caps and three with bail handles, stepped conical-form fonts. Sheet-iron examples each fitted with a period burner, brass examples fitted with an electrical socket. Early 20th century. 11 1/4" H to top of handle, 7" H to top of cap, 3 1/8" D base.

Good overall condition, expected wear and scattered imperfections, one colorless globe with a crack, remaining globes with wear and otherwise undamaged with normal imperfections to the rims, each brass font with a drilled hole and associated imperfections due to electrification along with frozen caps, each cap with damage; four examples lacking bail handle, sheet-iron examples with significant rust.
