BRASS PLUME AND ATWOOD SINGLE-ARM HARVARD STUDENT LAMP, embossed font with fine ribbing within scroll and figural Mephistopheles ornamentation, supported by a weighted circular foot impressed "Tiffany & Co" on edge, shade ring. Fitted with a period setup comprising a H. G. Moehring burner, cased dark burgundy rose ball-form shade with gilded decoration depicting winged dragon/griffin and wreath and torch , and a period colorless chimney. Second half 19th century. 18" HOA, 5 1/2" D base. Shade 8 3/8" H, 4 1/8" D fitter.

Condition

Excellent condition, brass elements with minor wear, otherwise undamaged. Burner and chimney undamaged, shade fitter with an approximate 3/8" crack/bruise along with overall wear to body and losses to gilt decoration .
