BRITISH CHIPPENDALE MAHOGANY ARMCHAIR, the shaped crest rail above a pierced splat and two boldly shaped arms terminating in carved grips, trapezoidal seat upholstered over the rails, raised on molded square front legs joined with a box-form stretcher having an offset front rail. Fourth quarter 18th century. 37 1/2" HOA, 18" H seat.

Condition
Very good overall condition, proper right arm with a small loss at the rear post juncture, short crack to the lower edge of the splat shoe.
