BRITISH INDIA VIEW TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC PLATTERS, LOT OF TWO, each having blue transfer scenes, comprising one featuring Monopteros depicting figures with pack horses and a mosque in background and one with Camel #1 depicting a figure astride a camel, water buffalo on right side, and a mosque in background. Marks to underside include impressed "ROGERS / 16" and "18". John Rogers & Son, Longport, England; T & J Bevington & Co., Swansea, Wales. Circa 1820. 16 3/4" x 13" and 18 7/8" x 14".
