BRITISH PEARLWARE HAND-PAINTED CERAMIC ARTICLES, LOT OF FOUR, comprising two examples with polychrome peafowl decorations depicting a colorful bird perched in tree including a cylindrical-form teapot and a sugar bowl lacking cover with Bobbin-style bird, a cup with polychrome floral design, and a 7 1/4" D blue shell edge plate with scalloped rim. First half 19th century. Teapot 4 5/8" HOA.
Plate undamaged; cup with rim hairline; teapot with radial hairline to one side, a hairline to top handle terminate, and cover with two chips to underside edge and finial reattached; sugar with several rim hairlines, a minor rim chip, and some light discoloration.
