BRITISH STICK SPONGE / SPATTER CERAMIC TEA AND TABLE ARTICLES, LOT OF 12, including a bowl featuring polychrome dropped feather design with red-sponged border, a pitcher having open stick-sponged design with hand-painted blue and burgundy bands, four cup and saucer sets including one with star design, one with diamond and flower pattern, one with dropped foliate decoration, and one having polychrome floral design including blue star flowers. Marks to underside include printed royal coat of arms with "STAFFORDSHIRE / ENGLAND" below and "ENGLAND". Together with a cup and saucer having polychrome hand-painted floral sprig decoration. Fourteen (14) pieces total. Mid 19th century. Pitcher 8 1/8" HOA.

Condition

Four cups and four saucers undamaged; five having mostly minor imperfections including minor chips/flakes or hairlines; pitcher broken and glued rim chip, a hairline extending across base, and scattered chips to foot, some possibly as made.
