BROWN MFG. CO. "SOUTHERNER" DERRINGER, 41 cal., iron frame with a 2 /12" octagonal barrel which swivels sideways to load, marked "SOUTHERNER" to top of the barrel, and with Brown manufacturing markings to the side of the barrel, rosewood grips. Serial #1915. 1869-1873. 4 3/4" LOA. Class: Antique.
Good as-found condition, mechanically sound, moderate to heavy wear to iron surfaces, lettering legible but weak. The grips are very good.
