CALDER, RHODE ISLAND PEWTER COFFEE POT,
lighthouse form with hinged lid and spurred C-scroll handle with black paint, underside of base bearing "CALDER" touchmark for William Calder (active 1817-1856) of Providence and "PROVIDENCE".
Circa 1825.
11" HOA, 6" D base.
Provenance: Deaccessioned by Bennington Museum, Bennington, VT. All proceeds will go toward the museum's collections acquisition fund.
Very good condition with expected wear, some light denting, losses to paint decoration.
