Ruhnau" lower right, inscribed "PRINCE CH. E. STUART / C. Ruhnau" to canvas verso. Housed in its likely original gilded and molded-wood frame. First quarter 20th century. 26 1/2" x 22 1/2" sight, 33 1/2" x 29 1/2" OA.

Free of repairs/restoration, heavy craquelure, scattered tint losses to paint, moderate wear to frame.
