CAST BRASS WHALE OIL STAND LAMPS, PAIR, seamed construction, stylized acorn-form font supported on a medial-knop stem and attached to a circular-form base. Fitted with a brass double-tube burner. Possibly W. H. Webb. First half 19th century. 7" H to top of font, 3 1/4" D foot.
Provenance: From a Virginia collection.
Very good overall condition, each with expected wear and some minute denting. One burner undamaged, remaining example with some light denting and one tube detached.
