CHARLES HENRY SAUNDERS (SHELBY, CLEVELAND CO., NORTH CAROLINA, 1901-1984) FRAMED AWARDS AND PHOTOGRAPHS, LOT OF TWO, comprising a wooden plaque with applied geometrical moldings made by Saunders having black and white photos of Saunders and his family laid onto the back and varnished over, dated "Oct. 12, 1975" to the back; and a group of nine first and second premium award ribbons from the Cleveland County Negro Fair, Shelby, NC dated between 1930 and 1956, a printed label for Charles H. Saunders, Taxidermist, 321 Jennings St., Shelby, N.C., and four black and white photos, one of Saunders' folding display case, and three of Saunders himself, housed under glass in a modern frame. 20th century. 11" x 12" and 22" x 21 1/2" OA.
