GROVE'S SONS (LANCASTER, PENNSYLVANIA) WHISKEY SELF-FRAMED TIN ADVERTISING SIGN, single-sided square form, chromolithographic scene featuring anthropomorphized dogs sitting at a table smoking cigars and drinking beer out of German-style steins, after the original painting by Cassius Marcellus Coolidge (Americana 1844-1934), marked for "THE AMERICAN ART WORKS. / COSHOCTON, OHIO". Dated 1910. 14" SQ.
Condition
Very good overall condition with minor wear and discoloration, one moderate area of damage / rust at proper right edge.
