CHILD'S WASHSTAND WITH PORCELAIN BASIN AND TWO-DRAWER STAND, LOT OF TWO, comprising a pine washstand with two towel bars to either end, housing a porcelain transferware basin marked "TERRE DE FER / H B & CTE" to base, showing scenes of playing children to inside of basin, and a spool cabinet with turned legs mounted to its base, creating a folk art child's stand table. Late 19th/early 20th century. Washstand 18" HOA, 21 1/2" WOA,13 3/4" DOA.
Condition
Good condition overall, break and repair to top drawer of stand table. Washstand has remnants of earlier white paint to underside, wash basin in very good condition with several small glaze chips, likely as-made, and a minor bruise to the foot rim.
