CHINESE EMBROIDERED SILK PANELS, LOT OF TWO, including metallic and silk threads, one depicting a scholar and student, the other with children flying kites. Each housed under glass in a gilt-wood frame. Probably 19th century. 16" x 10 1/2" object, 23 1/2" x 18" OA; and 26 1/2" x 16 1/2" object, 34 1/2" x 24 1/2" OA.
Provenance: From an Arizona estate collection.
Excellent condition with no deterioration of fabric, some minor fading, one very light stain.
