CHINESE EXPORT FAMILLE ROSE / ROSE MEDALLION PORCELAIN ARTICLES, LOT OF TWO, each having polychrome and gilt hand-painted designs with figures, butterflies, birds, and flowers within panels, comprising a drum-form teapot with molded strawberry finial and intertwined molded bamboo handles with applied foliate terminals, and a 13 1/8" x 9 5/8" ovoid-form footed dish. Unmarked. Second half 19th/early 20th century. 5 5/8" HOA.
Provenance: From the Eddie Tatum estate collection, Winston-Salem, NC.
Mostly undamaged, except teapot cover having a flake to interior flange.
