CHINESE HSUAN TE BRONZE CENSER, with guardian lion/foo dog on cover, two pieces can become detached but are present. Retains an old surface with rich patina. Together with copies of letter indicating the present lot as being a wedding gift in November of 1938. Probably 19th century. 11" HOA.
Provenance: From the collection of Jim Zwiegler and Lisa Schmid-Zwiegler, Broadway, VA.
Very good overall condition, with areas of very minor wear.
