CHINESE /JAPANESE SIGNED EMBROIDERED SILK PICTURE, silk on silk, a finely executed depiction of a terraced landscape featuring structures, rock outcroppings, flowering trees, cranes, quail, birds-of-paradise, and butterflies, signed/titled upper left. Housed under glass in a period molded rosewood frame with rosewood back secured with wooden clips. 19th or early 20th century. 14 3/4" x 10" sight, 17" x 12 1/2" OA.

Fine condition with no deterioration, small bleed to signature, several tiny spots, some light toning around edges.
