CHORDY WHITEHEART, CASWELL CO., NORTH CAROLINA KENTUCKY-STYLE PERCUSSION LONG RIFLE, approximately .38 caliber, walnut halfstock with brass end cap and buttplate, four-piece engraved brass patchbox, rifled octagonal barrel incised "Caswell NC C.H.W." to top, double set trigger, lockplate stamped "RIDDLE", lacking ramrod. Circa 1850. 56" LOA, 41 3/8" barrel.
