CIVIL WAR PERIOD BELGIAN BRASS BOX-LOCK PERCUSSION MUFF PISTOL, octagonal barrel, left side with "E / LG / star" proof mark, walnut pistol grip, iron trigger guard. With presumably original wooden ramrod. Mid 19th century. 5 1/2" LOA, 2" barrel.
Provenance: From the John H. and Joan S. Byrd estate collection, Harrisonburg, VA.
