CLEMENS FRIEDELL PASADENA, CALIFORNIA POPPY STERLING SILVER COMPOTE, having a detailed chased poppy flower-form bowl with scalloped edges, raised on a short round pedestal-type foot. Base with maker's mark above "HAND WROUGHT / STERLING", also etched signature of "made by / Clemens Friedell / 1935", additional etched name of "C. H. Howell". Total weight: 9.955 ozt. Dated 1935. 2 3/4" HOA, 7 3/4" DOA rim.
Excellent overall condition with minor wear and surface scratches, a few nicks.
