CONTINENTAL BLACKAMOOR CARVED WOODEN FIGURE / CALLING CARD RECEIVER, carved and ebonized wooden figure with glass eyes, red-painted lips, and a chain around waist, depicts an African American person holding a tray. Continental, possibly French. 19th century. 14" HOA, 7 3/4" WOA, 7 1/2" DOA.
Condition
Very good condition with wear to original finish, minor rubbing and a very minor loss to base molding on side.
