CONTINENTAL MAJOLICA POTTERY FIGURAL SMOKING STANDS / MATCH HOLDERS, LOT OF THREE, having various molded designs with three basins/compartments (a match holder, an ashtray, and a cigar holder, with match striker molded into bodies), comprising one gilt-decorated hunting motif example with a leaning rifle and dead rabbit, one brightly colored wagon and basket example with applied scruffy dog, and the largest themed after a ruined castle. Two stamped to undersides with the capital "A" mark of Johan Moehling and remaining with unidentified markings. Czech/Austrian or Bohemian. Late 19th century. 8 1/2" W largest, 6 1/2" HOA.
Very good overall condition, a couple with small repairs and/or inpainting to chips at extremities; castle example with a tight hairline through base visible only to underside and a larger chip missing from the central tower at rear.
