CONTINENTAL PORCELAIN FIGURAL BANQUET LAMP, featuring a long-haired dandy figure wearing hand-painted pink floral jacket, pants, bowed shoes, and a bicorn hat, having a globular form font with applied flowers, No. 3 fine-line collar, and electrified burner. Non-period cut and frosted ball form shade with swag design. Together with a German porcelain figural hydrangea form vase having polychrome hand-painted flowers to interior, and supported by two putti holding the stem, having C.G. Schierholz & Sons blue-crossed lines mark to underside. Vase - C.G. Schierholz & Sons, Plaue, Thuringia, Germany; and other. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 29" HOA.


Vase having moderate losses including one putto leg, most of one leaf, and remaining putto with moderate chip to top of foot; lamp font having some losses to applied flowers, areas of restoration including to figure and applied flowers, and associated alterations for electrification including drilled holes.
