CONTINENTAL PORCELAIN PORTRAIT PLAQUE, ovoid form, featuring a bright polychrome hand-painted image after Raphael's Madonna della Seggiola, featuring a mother embracing a child, no signature located. Housed in giltwood frame with brown velvet mat. Second half 19th century. 7" x 5" sight, 14 1/8" x 12" OA.
Condition
Plaque appears undamaged and is loose in frame; frame having some scattered chips and losses including to floral decorations on corners. Not examined outside of frame.
