CONTINENTAL SCHOOL (20TH CENTURY) MODERNIST PORTRAIT OF TWO WOMEN, oil on canvas, featuring a partially nude figure in the foreground, reportedly a depiction of sex workers in the window of a Dutch brothel, no signature located. Housed in a 19th century frame with modern liner. Circa 1920. 43 1/2" x 33" sight, 57 1/2" x 46 1/2" OA.
Condition
Very good overall visual condition, lined with possible inpainting and other restoration. Frame with later surface and modern liner.
