COUNTRY WOODEN-FRAME CANDLE LANTERN, square frame, glass panels, a single hinged door, metal cap, and bentwood bail handle, interior with single-socket holder, frame with scrolled carved designs at base and along sides, tops with primitive finial carving. 19th century. 21" HOA, 7 3/4" HOA, 8" DOA.
Condition
Good condition with loss to some of the pegs holding the structure together, and a break to the wooden handle; old wire repair to top panel where it had split.
From an Illinois estate.
